Altavyn is a proudly Canadian company founded by Mike and Kristy, operators who’ve built, scaled, and advised startups under real pressure.

Mike

Dr Mike Dixon scales innovation to exit. Founder of Synauta (acq), advisor to Sandymount (acq), and technical contributor at NanoH2O (acq). A mentor to 100s of startups and board director, he turns deep-tech R&D into global commercial success.

Kristy

Co-founder of Synauta (acq), Kristy Dixon is an operational leader. With a background in comms, product management and psychology training, she specializes in working with technical folks, translating ideas into outcomes, and aligning teams for scale.

Together, they blend founder-level perspective, advisory experience, and operational expertise to help leadership teams cut through uncertainty, act decisively, and scale with confidence.
